Mother and child - Frieda's Beach, Chester Nova Scotia
I was driving north along the coastal route south of Halifax when I spotted this lovely scene - the sky, the boats in the bay, and a foreground element. The mother just wanted to cool off. She had her child by her side complete with floatation device. I patiently waited, taking other photos and looking down at the rocks until their interaction was right for the photograph. The camera I had at the time was a Fuji X100, fixed lens 35mm equivalent, apsc sensor. It allowed me to take more of a landscape type of photo that still incorporated the people into the overall setting.
